This unique project saw Snyder’s involvement early in the preconstruction phase as a trusted partner to provide key input to the project and design team which then lead to confidence that Snyder was the only choice to properly execute the work needed under our scope. The project scope included all aspects of waterproofing for this new venue under the existing historic roof; from sheet waterproofing in the newly excavated bowl, to hot rubberized waterproofing, to single-ply roof membranes, to restorative roof coatings on existing areas. Snyder’s crews worked multiple areas simultaneously; navigating the impacts of supply chain along with the impacts of a pandemic, and through careful coordination, clear communication, and a proactive approach to resolving issues, was able to stay within the stringent project schedule predicated by the start of the NHL season. If there was a potential for water entry, Snyder was turned to for a solution.
