Project Profile
Spring Street North Block
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Two, 32-story residential towers grace Seattle’s skyline
Given the trusted partnership between Snyder and the project’s general contractor on past projects, Snyder was awarded the roofing and waterproofing scopes of this difficult twin tower in downtown Seattle. The project included hot rubberized waterproofing and SBS built-up roof on multiple levels across two towers. The main challenge on this project was staging and coordination given the limited open spaces due to significant MEP that was installed on the roof. We worked closely with the general contractor and other trades to ensure coordination occurred and the final installed assembly was not jeopardized.
Project Type
Urban Downtown – High-Rise
Project Highlights
- Congested roof area with several other trades working along us.
- Project schedule required multiple crews on the project.
- Hoisting and other logistics were key to project success utilizing means other than a tower crane to reach materials to the top of the two towers.
